You left out the part about not actually making a difference but still costing us more money and credit woes. (Just trying to help here....)
Don't blame yourself. It's actually pretty difficult to catalogue all the different types of pond scum one runs across in extracting oneself from the swamp.
Unfortunately they are also violating Federal Law in this post, there are certain disclosures that CRO's have to place in any advertisement, and they sure ain't got them. (Which leaves CN vulnerable, which is why I reported this thread as the SPAM that it is.)
Namely, the OP violated the CROA by their claims that they can "repair negative credit to full health"; 15 U.S.C. § 1679b (3) "make or use any untrue or misleading representation of the services of the credit repair organization" Its an entirely unplausable claim that they can repair every instance of negative credit of every consumer in two states to full health (no negatives whatsoever). In fact, the only way that it would be plausable would be to violate 15 U.S.C. § 1679b (4) "engage, directly or indirectly, in any act, practice, or course of business that constitutes or results in the commission of, or an attempt to commit, a fraud or deception on any person in connection with the offer or sale of the services of the credit repair organization"; 15 U.S.C. § 1679b (1) "make any statement, or counsel or advise any consumer to make any statement, which is untrue or misleading (or which, upon the exercise of reasonable care, should be known by the credit repair organization, officer, employee, agent, or other person to be untrue or misleading) with respect to any consumer’s credit worthiness, credit standing, or credit capacity" or 15 U.S.C. § 1679b (2) "make any statement, or counsel or advise any consumer to make any statement, the intended effect of which is to alter the consumer’s identification to prevent the display of the consumer’s credit record, history, or rating for the purpose of concealing adverse information that is accurate and not obsolete".
wonders if he reads and remembers too much of the law... Of course, I know a lot of lawyers who wonder the same thing...
