    Hello,

I have a questions about a my credit report please, I filled Bankcrupcy in 2002 in got the charge in 1-12-03
Can I get it off my credit report early then 10 years?

I also have couple of accounts like Chase Bank account opend on 4/1998 that show the acoount has been close due to inactive so is these accounts hurting my credit score because it still on my credit reprot if yes? can I try to take it out?

I also have some other acoouts that I opend on 4/1999 like Citi CTB and it said that the account close by consumer,so is these accounts hurting my credit score because they were close by consumer, and still showing on my credit report?

Is it better to leave the accounts that I paid as agreed on my credit report,or take them off?

for how long the postive, and negatife account stay on your credit report,or do they even go way?

    Thanks so much

Leave anything that's positive, such as "paid as agreed" accounts that are simply closed, alone. They'll probably stay on your reports for 10 years, but hopefully they'll last even longer. Negative marks generally stay on your reports for 7 years, except for your BK, which will linger for 10.

So I wouldn't worry yourself over the Chase and Citi accounts that were closed in good standing like 10 years ago. If anything, they're helping your scores a bit. Also, legitimate BKs are public record and really difficult to get removed early. You could always dispute something inaccurate or missing in relation to how the BK is reported through the CRAs and hope for the best.
