Hi all: About three weeks ago, I went to TU online and disputed 4 items and address from my credit report. The items disputed--"NOT MINE". Now the report came back says: "VERIFIED" on everything, even those that I have NOT YET disputed. The only thing that they changed was, they deleted one address that I sad wasn't mine. What can I do now that everything came back VERIFIED??? Please help.
Jam, I feel for you, Trans is an extreme thorn in my side as well. It's my opinion that they really don't take the online disputes seriously especially if you use the old "not mine" dispute method. I think what you experienced was proof positive that they don't really check squat. I think when anyone disputed as not mine all they do is check the tapes for a namew match and they just go with that. Try disputing a balance amount next (balnce incorrect)and do it via mail. This way they will be more inclined to actually READ whats on the tapes. Good luck, Sal
