When sending the letter for items to be deleted (outdated/obsolete items) do I send a copy of the credit report? Also, do I send a copy of the credit report with the validation letter?

NO need to do that, ESPECIALLY for validation to a CA. The CRA's already have a copy of your report.

    good luck

NO you do not need to send copies of the credit report to either one. For the CRA's they send you a form with your report that you simply fill out the information (now with check boxes and "fill in the blank" for the info). If you do not have the form, see the sample section for the needed information to dispute.

The sample section has samples of both validation and dispute letters. Send only the information in them do not provide ANY additional information to the CRA's or CA's than spelled out in the letters unless necessary for a unique situation.
