I just got a copy of my credit report from all 3 CRA's. Aren't they supposed to indicate how long you've lived at your current address and length of employment? I've heard that those 2 items impact your credit score but how can they if they aren't on the report. They do show my current address and employer but don't give length of time.

That information is gleaned from your application, not from your credit report. Just like income is not collected on the credit report.

I had this question earlier. Interestingly enough, my Trans Union pulled from Worthknowing has the length at my current address and length at my current job. I had read somewhere that the length of both of these matters, but posts on this board seem to indicate otherwise.

    INCOME IS ON THE APPLICATION
LENGTH AT ADDRESS IS ON THE APPLICATION
LENGTH AT CURRENT JOB IS ON THE APPLICATION

So it doesn't need to be on credit report...I've never seen it on any of my reports.

I have only seen where the report said "reported since ..."
But that does not mean that is how long you've lived there. I just indicates when that address was first reported to the CRA.

That is why when you fill out an app, they ask you those questions.
