Hi everyone. I am no longer a newbie. I want to thank all that have helped me clear up my credit. I am now in the home buying process. Special thanks to beta. I just have a quick question. If an account has been charged off; the CRA is given seven years to take it off or can the CA re-report it for another 7 years. Please respond.

After 7 years, the CRA must remove the account. The CA cannot re-report it.

Thanks for the response. The CRA is stating that the CA can report it again and then give it another 7 years on the credit report. I knew it was a lie.
