    Hi everyone,
I was wondering about getting my credit report I think some years ago (in Florida) there was a law which entitled every one to get their report free of charge from each CA once a year. Does any one know if this still exists.

    Thanks

Not in Florida. I live in Florida. You have to pay for it unless you've been denied credit or employment or a victim of identity theft.

GA allows 2/yr I believe. Do not know about the other states.

Yes I am, and yes they did have to give them at one time to Florida res. because I had a form letter back in the 80's with the staute and law that forced them to so I was just wanting to know if that was still so cause I cant seem to find anything about it any where.

Don't know about FL, but MN you can get free ones if you are denied credit or employment, are on public assistance, or are unemployed and looking for a job. ON TU's site, you can check to see if you qualify in your state. Go to purchase and then check one of the reasons, it will either tell you the price or tell you that it is free.
