I hope someone can help me with this I just looked at my experian credit score on credit expert and it went down five points. Now I had two deragortory things on there one is providian and the other is a collection agency RJM that handles Providian. I disputed them both and only Providian dropped today. Are they just punishing me for disputing an item? If anyone could shed some light on this I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Penalty System: 1 dispute = 2 points 2 disputes = 5 points 3 disputes = 10 points more than 3 = 15 points With all of the disputes that they handle, I highly doubt they singled you out and penalized you for a dispute.
