    Hi,

What credit score do you need to get a mortgage? I have saved $ 110,000 for a down payment. I am looking to barrow $ 140K to 160K.

    Thanks

With a score of 680+ you'll have plenty of takers. Since you have 40% - 44% to put down, they may even cut you a break on the scores.

my scores are tu 687 eq 683 and exp 653 and I qualified for 95% financing. I was hoping to get 100% but was told that my scores would have to be in the 700's

I don't claim to be an expert but with that kind of money down and at least a 600 score and employed you should not have much of a problem getting a loan anywhere. Just my opinion. I had a 672 score with no money down and got a 7% rate (30 yr fixed) last week from Countrywide. She stated that was a prime rate for no money down.

110.000? I don't think that scores would matter with such a big down payment.
