is the credit score somewhere on the credit report? or is something you can only view online? i recently got a credit report from all three companies and can not seem to find it. do you have to alway pay for the credit score? can it be free if you get denied the credit?also any other methods to pay for the score other than a credit card?

    thanks

Currently the only bureau releasing FICO credit scores is Equifax (Beacon). It will not be listed on your consumer credit report. Currently, you may only purchase the score on-line. No freebies :-( It costs $12.95 for the score plus credit report via www.scorepower.com.

There are secondary markets releasing other scores. Eloan will give you a CreditXpert score for free. They base their score on Experian Credit Reports.
