Does anyone know what score Toyota or Honda finance requires for their financing? My scores are:

    EQ 652
    TU 627
    EX 612

Since I filed for bk in 11/01, I'm planning to have my Mom cosign my loan. Her scores are:

    EQ 712
    TU 692
    EX 729

I'm wondering what interest rate I could be approved for on my own and with my Mom. Honda is running 4.9% for 60 months until April.

    Thanks in advance!!

I have heard Toyota radio ads that say that in order to get the promotional rate, you must have at least a 680 FICO (their words). The promotional rates are the best they offer. I don't know what it would take to get their regular financing.

You'll be fine with your mom's fico scores. Anything over 675 will work with Honda and Toyota. If you go with a domestic or with one of the second tier imports, they will go even deeper as they need the business a little more.

Stay away from American Honda Finance. The cars are great, but their customer service is ROTTEN!!! I have had better service from Ford, which at one time I thought was the worst, until I financed with Honda.
If your mom is willing to co-sign why don't you try an auto loan with a CU?
