There has been no inquiries on my reports recently, I haven't been late.. etc. Then why are they going down.. instead of going up or staying the same?

I disputed 4 really bad items on my transunion. 3 got deleted, and my score lowered by 20 points.

I disputed 12 items with experian; I haven't received th results back, but my score has gone down 10 points since 5/30/02. I'm really confused now. Any ideas?

    rackt3 -

My Experian score also went down 10 points overnight - and that is with a $1017 charge-off being reported as a $0 balance. I think something is messed up with CE right now. Has anyone elses scores gone down on Experian?

I didn't quite understand that. Now I just pulled my FICO score (equifax), and even that has gone down (17 points). The disputes are still under investigation, so the only thing that's change on my report is that it's showing (consumer disputes the info..etc etc).

I checked those factors, but I didn't see how my score could have gone down since everything's still exactly the same except that I have disputed some info that is *still* under investigation.

If you really want to know why your score's been affected....why don't you call Fair Issac's...

will they> Fair Issac rep >>actually talk to you and talk you through some of the scoring, or was that a "not meant to be taken seriously" comment?

I had the same thing happen -- a $263 "currently delinquent" has now dropped to 0, so there are no "currently delinquents" showing as of today, and yet my score dropped 4 points.

    What the....

    Oh yeah, the RNG factor!!!

    This is crazy!!!

Yes, I had credit protections deleted off and I lost 18 points!! So, I have gone from a 641 with 6 negatives I think it was to 618 with 4 negatives.
