I have seen this mentioned on the board before, but have a few questions about it. How does one go about finding out their own personal scores, and what should those scores be ? I knew that different merchants score differently, but I assume these scores are the ones from the credit reporting agencies right ? I would appreciate any tips you could give. As i mentioned before My son is trying to rebuild his credit, we'd love to know his scores.
RE: Credit scoring, FICO, Fair The only way to get your actual scores is to apply for a loan and then the loan officer may tell you your scores. I believe it is best to be above 640 or so.
