    Hi All,

I sent a validation letter for one of my husband's accounts. They in turn sent a letter stating that they no longer had the application. What they did send was copies of statements along with 3-4 computer printouts of his signature signing for purchases. Is he on the hook? The debt is for $500.00. Should we just offer to settle for deletion?

    TIA

    LB

The caption below the signature line reads something like "I agree to pay total amount according to card issuer agreement."

That would make you liable - but I'm sure you already knew whether you owed the money :D

    No it don't!
Perhaps you were but it don't prove that you still are!
