Inquiries were the easy part. I just went online and said over and over, "I don't do business with these people," which is true. I did not dispute any inquiries from companies I do do business with, and I even left a few older ones lying around. Just a hunch, but I think a CR with no inquiries for the last two years might, or even should look suspicious. Just got it down to a small number and moved on. One thing, any inquiry that looked like it was a collection agency, I went after hard until it went away. I had much better luck online, BTW, than on paper.

Yea- Miss Cleo- She e-mails me all the time, has dreams about me, can't wait to hear from me, and it's all good!

Whew! One of the more provocative (and evocative) non-answers I've ever seen.

Miss Cleo is a psychic who advertises on line and on TV too.
She'll tell your fortune in a heartbeat.

I don't know about that, but Bill does a mean imitation of all those bad guys in the Scooby Doo cartoons. Do you still have those links up live Bill (picture and WAV)? They were hysterical. And before you ask, no I'm fresh out of Scooby Snacks! LOL

    Re: Done Deal Then

    Hi all,
I just wanted to add my two cents here about advertising and giving advice. I have been coming here for about 3 years now. I always answer what I can and if I can't or don't have the time to go into a big scenario, I will refer people to the article I have already written on the issue. You see, like Kristy Welsh, I write--ALOT. If the article is about reporting time, 7 year rule, collection agencies or defaulted student loans- I've already written it. That is my only purpose for sending someone to the link. I don't offer here-- credit reports, credit repair or credit cards. I even cringe when someone here will ask me my opinion on a repair firm. Just ask Jim :)

As for direct promotions here? I don't need to do that, CreditNet has a strategic alliance with Carreon and offers them here under "Credit Services".

My tag line and rep remains the same- Free advise- It's what I do best :)

    God Bless our country!

    Take Care

Err ... since it's a tagline, I'll correct ya -- don' you want to give 'free ADVICE' :)

True. Also she offers that free advice "a lot" rather than "alot"... but hey, it's top-notch advice irrespective of the typos! (Kristi, you know we're just pulling your chain since you're a writer, cough, cough. It's tough to be famous, lol.)

:) My typo: Advise. (Get it? Free Advise=Please advise! It's a slogan.

    :) Your typo: Don'.

    I write--ALOT.-- I believe is correct! :)

    Take care you guys!
