    Here is an email I just sent to CW.

    Does anyone know the answer? I don't feel like waiting a week for them to reply.

    **********
    Today I got an alert telling me that something changed. When I accessed the file I can see a new account listed, but here is my question.

    I need to know when this account was reported to you guy's.

    If you can't give me the detailed information about a particular listing maybe you can answer my question by answering these 2 *procedural* questions.

    Once an information item is reported to you for inclusion in the report how long does it take to do the following;

    1) for the listing to "hit" the report

    2) for the email alert system to send me an alert message.

    It may all happen in 1 day or does it take 30 days? Or what?

    PleaseAdvise,

    Butch,

    I don't want to think you are being ignored....

    I wish I could help with CW. I have only gotten a Credit Expert alert. At first I couldn't see what the heck changed. Then... OHHH! They actually sent me an alert because I applied for the Househould Bank Card. It cost me 2 points. It took them 4 days to send notice.

    My experience has been that the alert was sent within a few days of my opening the account. Equifax seems the quickest of the 3 to update info.

    Thanx Guy's,

    Here's my point. I talked to a CA on the phone last Tuesday, (recorded). At that time I placed a TL in dispute. On Thursday, late in the evening I got the alert.

    I'm wondering if that happened because of my call. In other words is that enough time to notify the CRA, have the CRA list the acct and alert me, all in just 2-3 days.

    :)
