    Hi all.
Has anyone tried to try credit watch for the free period, then attempt to sign up again using a different username w/o being charged?

Sounds good in theory; however, I believe that it wouldn't work due to the requirement of credit card number and info upon joining. Unless you have different credit cards with slightly different names, I doubt that the automated system would accept a credit card with a differing name from that on the application...Just a thought!

It will NOT work...smarter computers than those over at CreditExpert...

Geo sent me another link for 59.45 and I signed up for it today (6/23/2002)

but it seems like there is no 30 day free trial period. They say the service is till 6/23/2003.

So, may be I am seeing this wrong. Is the free trial period included in the one year? Meaning total will be 12 months and not 13 months.

I signed on 5/29/2002 for $24.95 and my subscription will expire on 5/29/2003.So it means total will be 12 months. One month free means if you use it for 1 month or less and you cancel it they won't charge you.

Feel lucky that you were not around...I cancelled mine to get the 24.95 deal (when it was still working) and could not get it to work again until a couple days ago. And the "friendly folks" at EFX were clueless...
