Ok here's a strange one. My credit is in rehabilitation. I discharged about 15,000 left over from college in a B.K. 3 years ago.

On Thursday I got a preapproved line of credit 10,000 at 12% to buy their merchandise.

    Ok, we know it's crooked.

Just mail in the $29.95 fee to activate. Terms & conditions to be forthcoming.

Now, we are sure it's crooked!!!

Could this be a front for one of the 4 credic card comapnies I blew off in the B.K. As in sign here and your old mastercard bill reappears due and payable?

Any comments. i still only make 30,000 a year. A 10,000 line of credit sounds awfully high even for their probably crummy merchandize.

Or am I parinoid or not?

    It's a SCAM!

    Your not being paranoid bro!

Creditcorp does not offer an actual credit card.

They offer credit to purchase from their *very overpriced* catalog! You can only purchase from them. Not from regular stores.

    Ditch the offer! (I did)

    It's a scam!

    It isn't Credit

It isn't credit because it isn't sufficient by itself to buy anything. A copayment is required as well.
