do you guys EVER get email alerts or notices from either of these outfits? I haven't gotten ONE! I have to go check my darn report EVERY TIME to see if there are any changes.

I got an alert ONCE for credit watch (equifax) I think it is about time for me to cancel that.. anyway.

I actually got one tonight from creditwatch. But it seems that I only receive emails from them when they note an account as "in dispute." Otherwise, for updates and other changes I never receive emails. Credit Expert never sends me jack.

Creditwatch sucks! I get the 24hr notice emails at least 6 days after the information changes on my credit report. I emailed them a total bitch letter concerning this including 4 cases that proved it was more like a week instead of 24hrs and their response was "....you will get notifications in 24hrs". Um, no.

Creditexpert.....My information is always updated but never an email.

i was afraid i was the only one not getting notices. although it is annoying to have to login to creditexpert everyday to get updates, I can deal with this because they allow unlimited access. but creditwatch is a true paid in the butt- when i signed up i figured it would be ok to get only 6 reports a year since they would be giving me info on any changed tradelines - it is truly USELESS if they don't do at LEAST this much!!

Privista is much better. I hate the suspense of not knowing what has transpired between the 7 day waiting periods, but at least it's better than credit watch. It's a rip if you asked me.

Plus, the Privista website is nicer than equifax. I like privista. Unfortunately, when I signed up, I didn't know about all the "Privista Ho"s on this board. Or else I wouldn't have paid the full price!!

I agree that creditwatch is useless. I also signed up figuring even if I could only get 6 reports, the notifications would keep me updated on my disputes, etc. Nope. They don't even notify you when something is deleted.
