I just signed up for the trial 30 days is it worth the money? There seems to be some really good information on this sight? Plus, can someone tell me how my score can go down 8 points in 1 weekend?
FIRST ANSWER, SOME PEOPLE THINK SO (If you can get rid of all your inquires, and any bad accounts, it was worth the money...if all you get is to look at your report now and then, not worth the money)...buying 3 or 4 reports in a year would be cheaper. SECOND ANSWER, 3 WORDS...RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR... (HOW CAN I HAVE A MAJOR "HIT" BY PAYING OFF $30,000+ IN ONE MONTH)??? No logic to the system of F.I.C.O.
I cancelled on the very last day, and it was no problem. But I did get a cute email sales pitch asking me to reconsider.
I think that creditexpert is uuorth the money. Particularly if you are just starting the building process. Houuever, keep in mind that every time you dispute you should get an updated copy of your report from the CRA (free of charge).
Creditexpert is worth the money. Experian only sends updates after an investigation, not an entire report. I just cancelled out Privista (EQ) because my EQ file is clean with the exception of a few pesky inquiries. Experian is still problematic, so it is an easy way for me to stay on top of what is going on with that report. Creditexpert is not always 100% accurate in all their little statistics. It has my percentage of avail. credit incorrect, as well as some other things. They don't always update as often as they should. cariba
I'm not sure--I always go directly to the CRA website to initiate my disputes. If you do dispute through Privista, all it is is a link taking you to the Equifax website. cariba
