I had recently enrolled on Creditexpert.com Experian Credit Report/Score monitor. I was logging in once everyday to see how my score and report is and today I found out that there are a lot of inquiries just because of this. 7/02, 7/03, 7/05, 7/06. Does anybody know if this would really affect my credit score? Am i not suppose to log in that often and monitor my credit? I currently want to get an auto loan and was just wondering if they would see this inquiry mess. Please advice. THank you.
Don't worry. Those inquiries you are seeing are "soft inquiries". They are seen only by you. They do not affect your score either. You'll get one each time you pull your report through creditexpert. One option you have, if you don't need to see the score every day, is to look at your report through www.experian.com . Go to "request investigation". Put in your report number (10-digits), s.s. number, and some other personal info. and you're in. It's an updated report, just no score, but also no soft inq. is generated.
