Re: How can I get action from an OC?

    estoppel is spelled estoppel.

    What is BDD?
What is that "search" box there for?
What is millcbs [or is this part of who pulls where]?
I have a charge-off (or any derogatory) I want to get off my credit report, where do I start?
Should I dispute online, by telephone or by mail?
    What's an AU?
What's a hard vs. soft inquiry?

    Added:

-I have been trying to get answers but no one seems to respond to my posts
-It says 25 responses but I can only see the last five
    -What does <BUMP> mean?
-So many people use abbreviations, what if I don't know what they mean?
-Can I email another CreditNet user directly?

    Thanks for the input.

i sure would like to see a section dealing with how to handle paid charge offs

this letter by javan is only one that i have found so far that approaches this subject directly - i am probably not using the right words for searching but something in the faq would be good

    http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...ad.php?s=&goto=newpost&threadid=24809&pgnum=1

    also....

the link to psychdocs post about dealing with the original creditor? the link to "killer's success" goes nowhere! hehe, i wanted to see that one!

    peace, jimrie

Jimrie I am a bit cautious about putting things like "how do I deal with a paid charge-off" in the FAQ because I think it will mean that it will eventually need to include "unpaid charge-off" then "paid judgment" then "unpaid judgment" you get the idea...it will soon be longer than the Board itself.

Maybe if you could help gather several together, I will try to group them into a section of "where to find quick answers on XYZ?" and go that way.

If anyone has any ideas that would help too, if you folks think I should include those kinds of questions in the FAQ let me know.

    Oh Meanwhile:
Killer Link corrected (Thanks Doc and Jimrie)

    Dave,
I noticed a typo on a link on the faqs site. It is in the "where can I get my score". You mistyped, www.creditxpert as creditxpret.

Here's my letter to Experian RE: re-insertion...

    To Whom it May Concern:

It has come to my attention, through recent and past credit reports, that you have allowed information to be reinserted into my credit file that has been previously deleted. Pursuant to the FCRA, I'd like to be provided with copies of the certification required for reinsertion for the following accounts:

    *
    *
    *

I will allow you 15 days to furnish this information, however if you do not provide the information requested, you must delete and "cloak" the accounts as required by the FCRA.

    Thank you,

    Erica
