Well we are back (some of us anyway It was a fantastic trip. Here is my synopsis: (Vow of silence on many "critical" details in mind) Christie and I crapped the night away...I will always remember her for that (what a sense of direction too - YEAH BABY!!), Jacqui and I shopped till we dropped...children at heart , DaveLV???? was it too far from home?????, Saar...the GREAT redeemer (no more needs to be said) you arranged a great time for us man - thanks (PS - Hows the view???), MarkLA the W4 says it all (what was that percentage of the 4 of us meeting on the board again??)... you left way too fast dude! LKH high roller - rigamaroller - muddah! oh yeah and PartyAGE or was that JadeAGE? ) We had a blast!!! We discussed CreditNet (although the rule was no credit related discussions). I think we all agreed that after we "tawked" just the right amount of bizzness we could write off the entire trip...so I guess we should thank PBM too ) We will return! Love to you all. I really had a great time getting to know everyone on that "new level" wink wink, and I look forward to being with you all again. AREN'T YOU ALL JEALOUS??? YOU SHOULD BE ))) - Peace, Dave
Mega dittos Rush. er, Nave. Yep. It was a great time....again. Although I didn't hit the "jackpots" like last time, I did hit a couple. The best part was meeting all the people behind the screen names. I hope next year we can do it again.
Yeah, thanks Dave for the "crappy" time. It was nice meeting Saar, Larry (LKH) and Jacqui - and now I have all of your cell phone numbers.... Kristy
sorry i had to leave before some of the others arrived - but it was great meeting LKH, Nave and whatshisname - oh yeah - Saar. we gotta do this again - with more cners. oh yeah - ummm, LKH, i guess Saar told you. ummm, I won a little jackpot - ok - it was $2500 - which I promptly put in bank and paid off one of my cards - it was nice having it in my wallet for 24 hours tho Mark LA
Yes, he told me. Congrats!. I got a small one at Venetian for $1000 on Sunday. The $600 on Sat. and also pulled out a few for $300 to $400. The problem was that I put a lot of it back. The good thing to come of it was that I was upgraded to "gold club member" at the Venetian slot club and ended up having my room comped for the weekend. They credited my Amex for the room. I also had enough credits to get a whopping $75 cash back for my casino points and Caesars gave me a card for a free lobster buffet for 2 which we used on Monday evening. The Great Redeemer (Saar) actually did the b.s.ing with the casino host at Caesars to get the buffet. It was great meeting you Mark, but you really did leave too soon. We talked about doing this again in about a year, so maybe we can get some others to go this time and you can stay longer?
HI ALL... checking in from the ATL. Yes I had a great time also; wouldn't trade those two days for anything!! I'm still reliving the excitement of my 240 coins falling into the tray. Small change so some (*cough* Nave LKH MarkLA) but I'll definitely be back someday. It's hard to describe Vegas to those who haven't experienced it. Thanks to Saar for setting this thing up, and special hellos to Kristy, Nave and LKH. You guys are great!
Hi Jacqui. It was a pleasure meeting you. Glad you had a good time. I didn't get to say goodbye to you before you left, so was a little disappointed about that. But, I think it's safe to say we all had a good time.
Wow - the Venetian has a low payout percentage - you lucked out there. L- i think you might find the following link VERY interesting: http://www.atracktions.com/loosestslots.cfm
That article was very interesting. Consider that I hit the $1000 at Venetian this time and $1600 last time. Also, last time $2000 at Caesars. Both trips to Riviera netted me $600 payoffs. We did try Luxor (where Saar had some luck), Mandalay Bay, Circus Circus, Treasure Island, Caesars Palace, Slots o fun, Venetian and Riviera. I've got to say that I had the best luck at Riviera and Venetian.
Yeah - it''s hard to say how accurate those percentages are - and even if they are - i wonder - - it seems as though in most cases - it's not a huge difference. in any case - I won the $2500 at MGM - which is pretty low on the list. What does seem to be consistant is the higher pay out percentages on the higher denomination machines - $1 and up. The machine i lucked out on at MGM was a $5 one. Trying to find some kind of logic in it all - so i can quit my job and be a professional gambler - my life long dream
You guys rock! Went to vegas AND won money! Next year, i'm sooooo there! . . .if only to figure out who PBM is. . . i have it narrowed down to two!
Well - I wish I had been able to be there... did ANYBODY play Bellagio? Congrats on Venetian winnings - that is the high roller casino; Bellagio too of course. Still want to try video poker at THE PALMS.... aroo - dogman
Glad to hear you guys had a good time! I went for a week in July and didn't want to leave. Venetian and Bellagio are my favorite "tourist" spots, I never win anything there!
If it's any consolation, I can tell you we were all disappointed that you were unable to make it. We all wanted to know who this Lizardking character is. LOL We'll see you the next time, in about 1 year.
My winnings at the lovely (*ahem*) Casino Royal $1 Craps tables paid for our trip to the Blue Man show, which the Great Redeemer also arranged. What a great show! The Venetian craps table minimums were $15, so I avoided them like the plague. And thanks Larry for the lobster dinner at Ceasars'!
Is that the casino that had Monopoly Blackjack? If it was, that was the most fun that I had at the tables!!!!!
