I was reviewing my three major credit reports today. I came across some creditors reported not all positive new accounts on some reports. Is it a good idea to contact the creditors to tell them to report my positive accounts to the credit reports that they did not? Can this back fire on me for some reason? All my creditors have reported some positive accounts to all three. But some where left out. Should I contact the creditors to tell them to report the positive accounts? How should I go about this issue. Is there a letter I can submit to them and where can I find this letter in the forums if there is one. If the creditors where to add the accounts that where left out, will this improve my fico scores?

Who are the creditors? Some don't report to bureaus at all. If you don't have much history, this could work against you. If, however, you have a good length of history and several accounts, this becomes a "hidden" line of credit (in other words, if there is a balance, it doesn't count in your ratios because they don't know you have it).
