Just wondering if I am wanting to monitor my credit... What is the best way to do it, which one is the best? Are there currently any special offers for these type of services? Which services should one avoid? Thanks all
This is a great question - as someone who is about to start assaulting his negative items I'd love to get those of you who have experience with these services to share your advice! Thanks!
For Experian use the one they offer on their website, Credit Expert. You can access it anytime and get real-time reports and see your disputes in progress.

Worthknowing.com allows you to access your TU report for free at any time. Just remember that you need to completely delete and re-enter your account from scratch in order to get a fresh report. For EX, just go to their consumer website and pick the option to start an online dispute. Then enter an old credit report number and you will get to see an up to date list of all of your negative tradelines for free. EQ doesn't really have a good monitoring service, either free or paid, that I know of. I believe the best one they have is something like $69.95 for four pulls annually which is a total rip-off considering that you could just buy an individual report for $12. They were supposed to introduce a new service, but I'm not sure if anything has of yet been offered? One more thing: Only TU and EQ will sell reports with real consumer "FICO" scores. Make sure it says "FICO" before you order a report and score, because any other scores they sell are completely useless because a creditor will never see or use it. EX sells fake scores only. They are in some sort of a battle with Fair Isaac to control the scoring system. If anyone knows where you can buy a real EX FICO score, please let me know. -
