Creditwatch & re-insertion notice

    If a consumer has the creditwatch subscription and a tradeline is re-inserted by an equifax affiliate, would the affiliate still have to send you the required notice throught the mail? Does the little email notice serve as a median that the CRA can notify you by. Not a direct email from the affiliate, but the generic warning you recieve from creditwatch. Any thoughts?

    I asked the exact same question a while ago. The answer I got was no, they still have to notify you by mail.

    Guigs,

    I'd like to know this also. If you have time look into the terms and conditions agreement when you signed up and see if it says that the electronic notice serves as notice, and therefore no snail mail notice is necessary.

    Wondering.
