Has anyone gotten an explanation from them why they pull more than one soft inquiry each time you get your report? I just got my fourth report, and now have fourteen soft inquiries just from those four reports.

Just curious if there is a legitimate reason.

CALL AND ASK...they will probably say "THEY DON'T HURT YOUR SCORE"...you say...BUT I WILL "LOCK UP" (and not be able to get my report or score I paid for) DUE TO EXCESSIVE INQUIRES...

You get two each time, one for the report and one for the score.

I spent some time on the phone with Equifax with this same exact problem. I was locked out of CreditWatch due to my file being too large. She said I have a large number of inquiries. I asked her to tell me what the inquiries were for since I have not applied for any credit in months. They were all from Equifax when I requested my score and report! I was so ticked when I heard that. She offered to refund me my membership fees right there on the spot. I told her how frustrating it was to be locked out of a service I paid for and who boldly advertises, get as many reports as you wish. She had no answer to that.

What is the best way to dispute inquiries, soft ones, with Equifax? I didn't see anywhere in the online dispute area for inquiries.

Unless you're George, in which case they'll sock you with 4 for 1. :)
