I had had privista since June of last year and since they upped their price from 30 to 50 bucks, i went looking for other alternatives. The problem is now that i have Creditwatch, i am having a tough time trying to decide which one to keep. Privista lists me with a higher score, 50 bucks, updates once a week, however i like their format.

Creditwatch is nice because its directly Equifax, but its 70 bucks, I get stupid changes to my CR every day (like the account thats been open for a year they say it was just opened), can dispute online.

Anyone else prefer one over the other? Help me make up my mind!

I think Creditwatch, hands down. You get your ACTUAL score from Equifax, privista's score is a joke. You can get your reports everyday new and updated, privista once a week. You can also dispute directly at Equifax, can't do it with privista.

    Creditwatch 3
    Privista 0

I agree on all three counts. You can get Privista for $30 by getting referred by a current member (the current member also gets three free months). If you have a friend that has Privista, let your account expire and have him refer you. I can also refer you. Just email me @ veverything@yahoo.com. You may want to use a different email address then the one your are subscribed with.

Credit Watch is definately the better service but at a higher price which most would feel is justified. I personally hate waiting until Monday to view my equifax report. I have both CW and Pri and prefer CW.
