Cross Cntry Bk, Initial Limit?

I just received a pre approved offer for a CCB Visa Gold Card. It states that a limit of up to $2500 may be grated. I was wondering what the average initial limit is? I have high income and while I still have some negatives, they will be all gone within a year. I have rebuilt with several trade lines including over $11,000.00 with FCNB. I don't need the additional credit but think an additional trade line can't hurt. Any opinions? Thanks in advance.

I don't have a card with them, but if you do a quick search of postings on this board you'd find most people here have a very bad opinion of CCB. If I were to get an offer from them I would not accept based on this feedback.

Agreed. 100,000/yr mid-600s FICO, co-signer with high 700s FICO and got $350 for a credit limit! What a joke.

Then why did you give me their link to apply? Was that out of pure meaness?? I would NEVER do that my worst enemy, luckily I already knew about them, if not I might had taken you seriously and done it. If you can't give legitimate and useful information, I wouldn't give any at all. Don't purposely sabotage people who are really trying hard to clean up and clear up.

    hey trying to help....

"but I have 4 collection, 1 settled charge off from 1995 and 3 collections from 96/97 for $25, $28 and $343 all in dispute." ....

You asked what you could qualify with a 593 just answering your question!I thought this was "legitimate and useful information"

But in one post you say they suck, in another you give me their link to apply. Without even warning me the fraud they commit. Like I said luckily I'm no idiot and already knew about them. I am a 54 yr old widow, but not stupid. I've owned 2 houses in my lifetime and own one now.

me so sorry...tried at first to offer advice on a easier Chase card to get then you ask what is available with a 593 I posted the only ones I knew...CCB has not been entirely unreasonable for people starting out or rebuilding besides with all the cards and history you've stated Me thinks there must be other negatives asides from .."but I have 4 collection, 1 settled charge off from 1995 and 3 collections from 96/97 for $25, $28 and $343 all in dispute." ..

You thinks wrong my dear, I could scan you a copy of my equifax that I printed out night before last. I am looking at it as I speak. I can itemize it for you. Wait, I'm 54 yrs old with grown children, why am I playing your games? IF you have over 100,000 in income why are you even applying for sub prime cards or here? If you wanna get derogatory, answer that. I only make $48K. And draw a pension from my deceased husband that died at 45 yrs old with malignant melanoma.

How do you know why here score is like it is, she said what was on her reports, do you know how the scoring system works?? If so we would all like to know. You really shouldn't make statements like that about someone's credit.

FYI My husband has an Equifax score of 577, and he has ONE collection from 1995, care to speculate what else you think I am not telling you?? Nobody can figure out scoring entirely and you should't assume she has more than what she is saying she has.
