    Just a friendly FYI...

I sent a friendly dispute, via Planetfeedback.com in regards to a late payment (from 2004) they have listed on the good ol' credit report. Basically it stated "I don't recall ever being late, it might have happened, but you are the only negative thing on my credit report could you please remove it it?"

I received a PACKET from them today with a cover letter that basically stated "You suck, you were late, we've enclosed the proof, you suck...Oh and as a courtesy we will remove the negative note from your credit report"

So if you feel you are getting no where with them, apparently they do respond to planetfeedback inquiries.

Oh and it didn't BUDGE the credit score one bit on ANY report!!
   )

A single 30-day late doesn't have much effect on your score even when it's news. By the time it's four years old, it's having no effect at all (as you discovered).

I think 30-day lates only count for scoring for two years.
