    Is CSC trying to scare me? This is a bunch of sh*t.

    Here is the "Prior Payment History" prior to my dispute of this account:

    CREDITWATCH
    Prior Paying History
    30 days past due 02 times; 60 days past due 00 times; 90 + days past due 01 times;

    SCORE POWER
    Seven Year Payment History
    30 days late: 2
    6/2000, 3/2000
    60 days late: 0
    90+ days late: 1
    7/2000

    Here is the "Prior Payment History" after CSC's re-Investigation:

    CREDITWATCH
    Prior Paying History
    30 days past due 01 times; 60 days past due 01 times; 90 + days past due 19 times;

    SCORE POWER
    Seven Year Payment History
    30 days late: 1
    1 unknown date
    60 days late: 1
    1 unknown date
    90+ days late: 19
    19 unknown dates

    The results of the investigation state "CSC VERIFIED THAT THIS ITEM BELONGS TO YOU" and "CSC HAS VERIFIED THAT THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REPORTED CORRECTLY".

    The Status of this account is "ACCOUNT TRANSFERRED OR SOLD"

    It looks to me like I'm being Strong-Armed. I cannot believe that they added 15 90+ Late Dates with "Unknown Date" status. I am mad as hell and want answers. Wish me Luck. What does anyone else think? Any Advice?

    I would dispute the items again.

    Tman,

    CSC is doing the exact same thing to me. I started disputing two accounts at the first of the year. Every month I pull a new report and guess what? There are never two reports the same. I am taking it to the OC right now, however I had some reason to think that CSC was behind this. If I can't get anything done with the OC, Im going after CSC. Let me know how your situation proceeds

    E-Mail response from CSC

    I sent this e-mail to CSC:

    I have received the results of the investigation I requested from Equifax as well as Trans Union. My Trans Union results state "VERIFIED, NO CHANGE" for this account. My CSC/Equifax results state "CSC VERIFIED THAT THIS ITEM BELONGS TO YOU", and added 15 90+ days lates to my "Prior Paying History" to what was being reported prior to my dispute. My current Equifax report shows 1 30 day late, 1 60 day late, and 19 90+ days late (See Information Attached Below). This information is inaccurate and in the section of the report where these actual dates should be reported it only shows "1 Unknown Date" for 30 days late, "1 Unknown Date" for 60 days late, and "19 Unknown Dates" for 90+ days late. If these dates are "unknown" then this is a violation of the FCRA which requires that all information is 100% accurate. Again, you are bound by the FCRA to report 100% accurate information. Not only is this information inaccurate due to the fact that these dates are reported as "unknown", I again state that I have never had an account with your company. Either BANKFIRST or EQUIFAX/CSC is purposely and knowingly reporting inaccurate information on my report in direct violation of my rights afforded me by the Federal Credit Reporting Act as well as my right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Your help in resolving this matter has been and will be greatly appreciated. Thank-You.

    Here is the e-mail response I received:

    Your request has been forwarded to me for handling. I have requested the backup on this dispute and will get back with you as soon as I can review the information. This will probably take several days as our storage is off site.

    Offsite storage? I just received these results 7/17/02. What would they be storing off site? Sounds like bull to me so they can buy some time. At least I did get a response. I look forward to what they have to say.
