Anyone else been having difficulty lately with CSC in El Paso, and their response to the CRRRs? 1. my husband's disputes -- A. CSC signed for CRRR 1-14, no reply, online shows â??customer disputesâ? as of 3/11. B. CRRR sent to CSC on 2-22 on a different dispute, no green card back yet. usps shows that it was mailed, but nothing else. 2. my disputes -- A. CSC signed for CRRR 1-17, no reply, online shows more lates than I was disputing. I have a letter ready to send on hubby's first problem (1A) demanding that the TL be deleted. But I'm not sure what to do about the other items. Hubby's other problem (1B) is that they havent even gotten the dipute three weeks after we sent it -- can I do anything? or should I just send it again? My problem is weird (2A) in that I think they might have done an investigation and came back with even more lates on my two auto loans (although I don't know how that is possible.) I do NOT want to demand that they be deleted because I need these TLs which are almost paid off, so they help with my ratio and also my mix. Any advice? Thanking in advance. peace, delilah
Well, I have no solutions for your problems. But they are an example of the never ending problems people have with credit bureaus. It is a crying shame that they can get away with such obfuscation, pettifoggery and flimflammery but they do it day in and day out. That is why I force the creditor and the debtor to take care of those problems instead of having to fiddle with the rascals. I just don't want to have to deal with all that nonsense. As Slick Willie once said, "I feel your pain."
It sounds like they did the investigation in January, and added more lates. Happened to me on a mortgage. I am guessing it says "consumer disputes" to comply with FCRA. Have you tried a goodwill letter? You always risk having a TL deleted when you dispute. For the card you haven't gotten back, you might call the Post Office and have a trace put on it. I have also found they keep more detailed records then appear online. Just a suggestion.
Thanks for the tip about checking with real people at the Post Office. I know the other two I sent that day made it to their desitnations, so maybe its just a computer tracking glitch. Looks like there's not much to be done about the disputes that were received in January ... oh well. I'll just send it out again in my next round, or like Bill suggested, attack it from the OC angle. Thanks for y'alls help. peace, delilah
A collection agency who has committed illegal acts and then suddenly comes up refusing to accept any more of your letters can be sued for refusing to accept them. They cannot escape culpability simply by refusing to admit that it exists in that way. It is called willful ignorance and that is culpable. I have my doubts that your case would fit the criteria.
