Does anyone have a decent contact person at CSC in El Paso? Or is there a consumer affairs department or something like that? 6 good TL's have disappeared from DH's report, and I want to see what I can do about it. Thanks!
jlynn...wish I could help. I did just fax a dispute to CSC in Houston (281-878-1974) and last time I faxed a dispute to that number, I got results right away. BTW, do you know if I dispute with CSC, do I also need to dispute with Equifax? I have CR's from both. TIA!
Thanks, No CSC is an affiliate of Equifax. You HAVE to dispute with CSC if in their area, but it updates to EQ as well.
Try Cricket Dalton 281-878-4821. She is a supervisor and I have had success with her. Sometimes I get her voice mail, but she always calls me back when I leave a message.
I just spoke with Ms. Dalton. Although she was very knowledgable, she couldn't help me . What I learned - DH's file was getting too big. She also warned me, this may result in a split file if it keeps growing. She said she would be unable to reinsert the TL's. I figured this, but she gave me some interesting info that "may" pertain to bumpage. When your file gets too big, it gets rid of the oldest accts. first. On all DH's accounts, the DOLA predated the oldest inquiry. I think that might be why, rather than getting inquiry bumpage, he got deletions. If my theory is correct, he will either now start getting bumpage, or split. Can any of you guys with EQ bumpage verify this?
Another update. I called EQ at the suggestion of CSC. CSC says they didn't do it, EQ says they didn't delete the accounts. So now, I have to get GMAC to resubmit the tradelines. Only thing is, I know that GMAC doesn't keep their records over two years after you pay off the account. (This is sometimes a good thing!). But, seeing as how GMAC has hubby's EX report screwed up at the moment reporting him defaulted, I may use a bye the way - please submit new UDF's on these trade lines. BTW - the girl has never seen a split file. She said, yes they do split, and we put them back together again. Sorry, didn't get her name for any of you split file victims.
