since the search feature at this site NEVER works for me, I have to ask a question I know has been discussed before. sorry. I sent a dispute letter to Equifax and got a letter back saying, of all things, that equifax 'does not maintain or service the information contained in your credit file.' WHAT?? I know i've read on here what they mean by that, but I CANT FIND IT. does anyone have a link about this? and the part about them 'forwarding the information to the cra which researches the credit file concerns of consumers in your area'...(which is CSC credit services.) does that mean CSC still has from the CRRR date to verify? or do i have to re send the letter to them now? I havent heard a peep from CSC at all. No letter confirming they've started an investigation, results, etc. nothing.
