I pulled a free copy of my EQ report and score on 10/11/03. My FICO score was at 569. My EQ report showed this: Mortgage: 0 Installments: 9 Revolving:5 Other: 3 Total accounts: 17 Open accts: 6 Closed accts: 11 Good standing:11 Past due: 4 Negative: 3 Inquiries: 4 Today, I get a fresh report with score. My FICO score was down to 550. This is what the report showed: Mortgage: 0 Installment: 2 Revolving: 2 Other: 3 Total accounts: 7 Open: 4 Closed: 3 Good: 2 Past due: 3 Negative: 2 Inquiries: 3 I placed 3 accounts into dispute via CSC online dispute form last night. Looks like they removed all my positive account history. They were not close to the 10 year reporting period either. The odds of 11 positive tradelines falling off all at once, slim to none I think. What should my first step be now...should I wait and see if my dispute actually goes through? The accounts I disputed are no longer on my report. Or should I attack them about removing positive tradelines? These closed tradelines are about 4-7 years old I'm guessing.
This seems to happen a lot Wrangler. CSC is an EQ affiliate and so is CBC. I have a similar issue with CBC. Seems tho, that when the investigations are completed the reports are put back to normal, (minus adjustments to the disputed TL's if applicable). Isn't that what you've noticed? ???
actually, this is the first time I noticed all positive accounts gone after I dispute negatives with CSC... but then again, I don't subscribe to EQ's credit monitoring service and CSC does not allow me to view my CSC report online, so I will cross my fingers and hold on... Hope for the best. Just makes me nervous because TU did this same thing to me about 4 months ago...removed 6 positive tradelines when I disputed 1 neg...took 2 months and an ITS directly to Julie Brennan to cure it.
