I disputed 3 accounts online on Friday, 5/2/03. On Tuesday, 5/6/03, this was added to each of the 3 disputes "Consumer Disputes Says Not HIS/HERS". That was not my dispute at all! I disputed like this: 1. TL #1 - Reporting as "inc in bk" - disputed as status incorrect, paid in full 2. TL #2 - Reporting as "inc in bk" - disputed as status incorrect, paid in full 3. BK - disputed as "satisfied" What do I do with this mess? They didn't do an investigation and opted to add a consumer statement that I didn't even make! Is their 30 day clock ticking on an investigation? Should I wait 30 days and demand deletion? I am SICK of CSC. They are complete total idiots!
What makes you think they aren't disputing? I think they probably are, although I've never seen the additional comment listed. I'd call them, tell them to correct that statement and make sure the disputes are in progress.
I feel sure they aren't disputing because they did this once before to a TL. I had to have the TL deleted completely to get the statement off.
