Did everyone know this but me? I called the 800 # this morning and it said "file your disputes at www.csccredit.com." For me, dealing with CSC has been a true hassle because it is 100% snail mail. I may have told everyone the obvious. If so, sorry!
No, I haven't tried it yet. I sent in a dispute several days ago (not knowing I could do it online). I didn't want to confuse them by sending another one in on top of the first one. The website is very simple. It has a form for disputing much like Experian. The only issue I see is that you have to use one of their pre-determined dispute reasons. There is no "other" reason as a choice. I think I am going to do one just to see what happens! I am excited! We will actually have something that resembles a confirmation, with a date, and a time!
Hi Lisa, I heard that yesterday. Tried to log on, but wouldnt work. Tried again later and I got on but I think something interrupted me. Anyhow, I managed to actually get them to take a dispute over the phone on Monday. Usually I fax them, so I was surprised to see they accepted the phone dispute. Let us know how the online deal works. I know csc's problem is when it comes to notification. They say they mailed something on the 5th but when you finally get it, its post marked 3 weeks later. Thanks for posting the info. Have you written your eq letter yet? I sent mine off late last week. Just wondering if I'll actually hear from them. Good luck with yours!
Yes, they do offer disputes, but only for limited reasons. It is not like EX, TU or EQ....there is no "other" column.
Hey Nikki! Yes, I sent my EQ letter on Monday CRRR. I'll let you know how it goes. I submitted 2 disputes on the new CSC website just a little while ago. It is very limited AND you don't get any type of receipt for it.
