Well, they did it.... I had a disputed item they didnt even investigate or provide frivolous notice. Long story short, I sent them a ITS letter and clearly stated they never investigated or notified me to tell me it was friviolous. It was a bk from 94. I also made clear that the ITS letter was not a request to re-investigate. Well, those bastards put it into dispute again. I am sticking to my guns. I will not let them cover up the fact that the first time I asked for the investigation, it was never done. Unfortunately,I know this item will come back verified, so...I'm clutching at straws now, but I'll be clutching their balls soon, lol.
How did you originally dispute the item? Mail? Phone? Can you prove when they received your dispute? If so, I think you've got them
I noticed that even though I disputed the last of the baddies, my score was still lower. It dropped to 649 from 663. Not sure why. I though that disputing would inflate it a little. Maybe it did, which means my score really went in the toilet. Sorry for rambling, I'm a little pissed.
smontoya, yes, I disputed by fax-kept transmission sheet. Also, was told they received it on a specific day. Pulled a report and all items except this one were marked in dispute. When I got my results 45 days later, it said this item was investigated. Hogwash. Sent their legal team a strongly worded letter. Now, they do THIS??? Hmmm...I know it doesnt cover up the fact that they goofed. But still. Anyhow, I cant figure out why either my score just really sucks now or if it even went up from the disputes. Everyone says csc does, but it doesnt seem like mine ever does. They never cease to amaze me.
Think I will send them another strongly worded letter reminding them that I did not ask for another investgation and that by them doing one, it admits they did not do it the first time. Will also remind them of the violation.
