I want to fax a copy of the UDF and letter that Asset Acceptance sent me. Does anyone have a current fax number for Equifax? The I have does not work, it's about 2-3 months old.
How did you get Asset Acceptance to delete your treadline. I am currently trying to get them to delete something.
Hi! Here is the number I used to fax in a dispute a couple of weeks ago: 1(866)233-3777 Hope it works for you. I faxed them at 9am in the morning (ET) when they first opened. The next day they had already corrected my file. GOOD LUCK!
I used 888 345 9399 attn Fax team.. It wa s long letter and after i sent it i read hear where they don't look at long letters and just ignore factual stuff. I called 5 days later and they received it worked it and sent me an acknowledgment and deleted stuff. The rep read me the results but couldn't make sense out of everything, but it sounds like they deleted my request for removing stuff they "re-inserted" without informing me. Now I'll have to wait to see when the report arrives hopefully today. I could pull a online one but i don't want to get pissed if it's not right. Love i'll let you know if my reinsertions are removed.....
Thanks, I used the 888-345-9399 number yesterday and it would not work. So I am going to try the 866 Number. Thanks again.
It works, I was told that the 888 number is better and faster(Visibility) so far it looks correct. Anticipating the mail, very tempted to just pull an online report to see......
