A warning to anyone considering apple.com loans: if you have derogs, they're probably not going to give it to you at all. Dad has a paid charge off from 98 ($500ish) and a paid collection from 1998 ($42) on EX and two positive credit cards. He had no inquiries until now. Instant denial.
author_22, I got approved for Apple Instant Loan for $5500 with 14.99 Fixed APR in Dec 2000 and I have no negative accounts on all credit report. I got three to four inquiries when I was applying. For some reasons, they made two inquiries in my Experian reports. They increased my limit to $5800 and lower my rate to 12.9%APR. My brother also got approved Apple Instant Loan for $5500 with APR 14.99% APR last December.He has no negative on all his credit report. We both have MBNA credit cards with them and I don't know that helps. Ron.
