Since reading this board, I've noticed that many people post updates about their credit reports that they receive. Quite a few check their reports and scores daily.

First, do scores actually change daily? I was under the impression that information was only updated at the 1st of each month.

Second, if it is possible to view your credit report/score daily - and see changes - what is the best subscription service?

I've pulled all 3 reports from myFICO, but can you get a daily update service at a reasonable price?

    Thanks in advance!

Scores could change every MINUTE, *IF* any of your trade lines change what they are reporting, or *IF* any of the other information is changed in any way.

Pull your credit reports one minute, apply for anything, and pull your reports again, your scores may have a drop from a few points to about 10-15 points depending on how long it had been since you last applied for credit and that particular report was pulled.

Heres a good example, I'm not a perfect example because my file is mainly nothing new (yet), but provides an example of how one or two inqs can change a score within a day.

    Eq 10/7 - 628 (No Inq's 6+ months)
    Eq 10/15 - 617 (WalMart Inq) 11 point differential
    Eq 10/28 - 615 (Target Inq) 2 point differential

If you want to just pull a report daily, you can use Privacy Guard. Just a buck for the first 90 days and it's all 3 reports.
worthknowing.com for a TU report, you can pull daily if you delete your account after each time using it.
