Hi DanceRat, Welcome back, I know you don't know me, but I'm so happy that you returned! I read all of your library threads but there was no update as to what happened between Unique and your fiance. Were you able to work magic to get the paid library collection off of his reports? Or did it finally fall off because it was over 7 years old? Can you please give an update? Yes, we did, and his is off too, and this what we did. (We followed exactly the same course of action) Wrote a letter to Unique telling them we dispute the whole shebang. (not the amount because we wanted to do an inaccuracy later...) Nothing happened. Wrote another letter to Unique citing the FCRA and inaccurate reporting AND that they (not the CRAs) need to place "in dispute" on the report. They placed "in dispute" on the report. After 30 days for me and 60 days for my fiance, they both fell off. Does that help? I think I can dig up all my letters...
