Pulled Equifax Bureau back in Oct. Score was 577. Disputed to old chargeoffs Sears and Circuit City at that time. Pulled Bureau in Dec and score was down to 548. I said okay that was fine because Hechts had fallen off due to the date of last activity being 7 years ago. Pulled Bureau last night score now is 530 ?? All of my other scores are rising like wildfire except for this EQuifax. Is it because I disputed the items and now the DATE REPORTED is showing 12/03. ??? Sears sold my account to Risk Management and they have a separate acct # for my sears acct how can that be ?? And sears charged this account off in 1997 how is it that if they sold it to a collection agency the collection agency can show a date of last activity as 11/1998. I have not paid these accts since 1996 when I was a freshman in college. And now both Sears and Ciruit City are showing open 120 days past due instead of charged off. The other bureaus are fine it is just this one that keeps getting worse .
