I have a paid collection account on my report for $50.00. The date assigned is 12/00 with the DOLA as 8/00. This is a medical bill. The date of service for medical services was 8/00, actually mid August of 2000. I paid this bill to the OC, but it shows as a collection account on my CR. Not sure when I paid, but sure I can find a receipt in my checkbook log, somewhere. How should I go about disputing this?
I just had one deleted for "paid immediately, never was a collection." I would get the copy of the check for your records just in case. Good luck!
