Ok..I need advice... Ok, I have 2 accts in BK ...and the actual last date of activity (if it was recorded accurately) would show that I was nearing the 7th year and they should drop off. However, the BK is not set to drop off until 03. On 2 CRA reports, in fact, one of these 2 have dropped off due to the age but it remains on Ex. How do I persue this to have it deleted? Do I dispute as obsolete? They show dates that are totally inaccurate and have it remaining until 03. Thanks so much!
Have you thought about going back to the original creditor and demanding the date of last activity according to their records? Do you happen to have any proof of actual last activity left in your personal records? Why not get some proof on your side if you can, then go from there?
Bill, that is exactly what I was thinking. Unfortunately, I don't have any proof anymore. So, I was figuring I'd likely need to go directly to them. I will wait until I'm 100% sure I'm past the 7 years (which is next month I believe) and proceed. Thanks
