Is it the date you filed in court and or the date that you receive the letter in the mail saying your debts have been discharged. I filed on 2-26-04 and received my discharge letter dated 6-2-04. I am trying to determine what 6 months from the date of discharge would be for me.
Your filing date: 2-26-04 You were still responsible for debts even though there was a stay because the court had not yet made a determination as to whether or not they'd discharge your debt. On your discharge letter dated 6-2-04 it should be stamped by the court with a date that the discharge was issued - around the date/time of the letter. Shanyl
