Dear Credit Bureau...

    Most people who have credit problems are not "deadbeats." Many have fallen on bad times, had medical emergencies that drained their savings (or couldn't afford insurance) or lost a spouse who provided major support to the family or was laid off their job.

    Credit reports that have a life of 7 years (a lucky number for someone), credit scores that no one can explain and a diverse amount of erroneous information do not benefit hard working Americans who are attempting to make it from payday to payday.

    Don't judge me according to the color of my parachute (bank account balance and/or credit score) but by the content of my true character.
