I have a question regarding debt negotiation. I sent a letter to a collection agency in an attempt to settle a debt. I have not received a response and it has been more than 30 days. Any suggetions on what to do next? Thanks.

i would send a validation letter next... Make them validate the debt is yours...

What is considered correct validaiton? I heard somewhere that computer printouts where not acceptable. If they are not able to validate what is the next step?

    Thanks for all your help!

I only accept something that would have your signiture. a print out and just because they can verify your name and address does not count.

Send the estoppel letter after their 30 days are up.
BTW the 30 days applies to the CA not the debter or consumer!!
