Has anyone had any experience using a debt settlement service such as Hoffman Brinker Roberts (linked to Carreon) or Lexington Law Firm (or Johnson and Associates)? I have four charge-off credit card accounts with collection agents totaling aprox $6,500 (peanuts to some but substantial to me) all with last activity within the last 18 months. I know some will suggest I handle this myself but I have time constraints and lack negotiation skills. Thanks in avdance for any help.
