Ok, so I don't know what to do now. This is my situation:

I tried to dispute an item directly to the Company, a collections agency, who listed a negative item on my Experian report. I sent a certified letter to the address listed on the Experian report and it was returned as undeliverable.

So then I disputed the item directly with Experian who has now returned the results saying that the company has verified it as being accurate. They say they cannot help me the only contact info they have is the one on my report.

What do I do next since I have already tried to dispute it directly with the company but apparently their contact is not valid? What are my options? Can someone offer any suggestions?

What's the name of the CA? I'm assuming you've done some research online to find alternative contact information. Experian must have communicated with them to verify the debt, so the right address/number is out there somewhere. Also, you may want to wait about 60 days and dispute the listing again with the CRA using a different reason. Is the balance wrong, wrong charge-off date, wrong DOLA, etc.?

If you disputed directly with the CA first and it was mailed to the exact address on your CR and came back undeliverable then the address on your report is incorrect. Thus the CRA must remove it as it is not 100% accurate. Can you make a copy of the envelope showing the address and that it was undeliverable and why? If so and it was undeliverable because the CA is not at that address send a copy of the envelope with this info to the CRA stating that they are reporting incorrect info and to please delete the account.

I did check the address of the CA before sending off the dispute letter, It is a company called Healthcare Funding Solutions out of Denver. Experian says they verified the information "electronically", what does that mean anyway?
As for making a copy of the envelope, I have done that. I included a copy in my originial dispute with Experian. Also, I addressed it exactly as it was on my Experian report.

They're now called SquareTwo Financial. This is from their website, where they are trying to get people to send business to them. But it's an address, I'd try it.
